Career Exploration & Evaluation Program

Students enroll on a quarter or trimester basis. A referral from high school counselor and

case manager is required.

Students have an opportunity to explore various careers.

Sample from a wide variety of job areas.

A career portfolio is developed for each student.

Food Industry Careers/Trio Cafe

A referral from high school counselor and case manager is required.

Kitchen safety and sanitation, equipment usage and storage.

Fast food, baking, food career exploration and quantity Food preparation.

Participate in student-run restaurant, “Café Hero”.

Participate in FCCLA/HERO (Family, Career, Community Leaders of

America - Home Economics Related Occupations), a student organization

focusing on leadership skills.
