TAPP is a program within Dakota County Alternative Learning School
(DCALS) and Dakota County Secondary Technical center (DCSTC)with ISD 917:
TAPP provides a different way of continuing your high school education if you are
committed to continuing your high school education.
You are prior to your eighth month of pregnancy and you are registered with
a doctor or clinic for prenatal care. Doctor’s certification is required.
Explore choices and alternatives available to pregnant and/or parenting teens.
Participate in prenatal care, life skills and parenting classes.
TAPP offers a comprehensive high school curriculum covering areas of English,
Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Health, Math, Grad Standards*, Electives
& Technical Career Training with College Credits.
Receive referral assistance in areas of concern. Sort through decisions in your
life. Develop new friendships. Investigate career development and job skill
training. Work towards completion of academic requirements..
After your baby is born, they will assist you in exploring options for
completing your graduation/school requirements.
